Security Technician – IP CCTV, Alarm & Security Installations
This is NOT an IT / computer technician position.

We are looking for an experienced Security Technician to join our team.
This position is for a hands-on installer who has practical experience installing, maintaining, and fault-finding security systems, including IP cameras, alarms, and related security equipment.

We are only looking for candidates who have physically worked on-site installing security systems.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of IP CCTV camera systems
- Alarm system installation, programming, and fault finding
- Running, connecting, and terminating cables
- Installing and configuring security equipment
- Connecting cameras to networks and mobile applications
- Testing systems and ensuring installations are working correctly
- Troubleshooting and repairing existing systems
- Working at residential and commercial sites
- Providing professional service to clients
Requirements:
- Previous hands-on experience installing:
- IP CCTV camera systems
- Alarm systems
- Security equipment
- Access control systems (advantage)
- Intercom systems (advantage)
- Basic networking knowledge related to security installations
- Ability to use tools and complete physical installations
- Must be comfortable working on-site
- Must have neat and professional workmanship
- Able to work independently and solve problems
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Good communication skills
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to drive is essential

Only candidates with real experience installing alarms, CCTV cameras, and security systems will be considered.
