Job Title - Senior Project Manager
Role Overview
Our sister company, Synthesis Software Technologies, is seeking a Senior Project Manager who is responsible for the successful delivery of assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, within scope, and to the required quality standards. The role exists to drive delivery excellence, maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships, manage project risks and finances, and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices within the PMO. The Senior Project Manager plays a key role in ensuring successful project outcomes while supporting organisational growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee assigned projects to ensure delivery within scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.

Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and resource challenges.

Ensure compliance with project governance, legal, regulatory, and industry standards.

Manage project budgets, financial performance, forecasting, reporting, and change control processes.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and escalation point where required.

Participate in pre-sales and sales enablement activities to support successful project initiation and delivery.

Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary project teams while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Contribute to the enhancement of PMO methodologies, tools, reporting, and delivery best practices.

Collaborate closely with Finance, Technology, Shared Services, Product, and Professional Services teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.

Ensure accurate project reporting, timesheet approvals, utilisation tracking, and performance monitoring.
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience managing multiple projects through the full project lifecycle.

Strong project governance, risk management, and stakeholder management experience.

Demonstrated ability to deliver projects successfully within scope, budget, and agreed timelines.

Financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.

Experience managing customer relationships and driving high levels of customer satisfaction.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.

Experience working within cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder environments.

Ability to identify and resolve delivery, resource, financial, and operational risks.

Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and reporting skills.

Experience mentoring and developing project team members.

Experience contributing to PMO strategy, delivery frameworks, and process improvement initiatives.

Participation in professional project management communities or industry networks.

Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent.
Qualifications

Relevant degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience.

Professional Project Management certification would be advantageous.
