Club General Operations Manager – Planet Fitness
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Club General Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our fitness facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, delivering exceptional member experiences, and leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Lead, motivate, and develop staff through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Oversee member service standards and ensure a welcoming, clean, and safe environment.
- Monitor club performance and implement strategies to achieve operational and financial targets.
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all health, safety, and operational standards are maintained.
- Handle member concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
- Oversee facility maintenance and coordinate with relevant service providers to ensure equipment and facilities remain in excellent condition.
- Support sales initiatives, member retention, and community engagement activities.
- Prepare reports and communicate regularly with regional management.
Requirements:
- Previous management experience in the fitness, hospitality, retail, or service industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound operational decisions.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Computer literacy and experience with administrative reporting.
- A passion for health, fitness, and delivering exceptional customer service.
