Qualifications:
- Certificate in introduction to ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)
- Grade 12 (Matric) completion is mandatory.
- Possession of a valid drivers licence.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in SHERQ coordination, administration, document control, or integrated management systems is required.
- Experience and proficiency in using Microsoft SharePoint for document management.
- At least 5 years proven experience in mining, engineering, construction, or heavy industrial environments.
- Administration, data capturing and presentation skills
- Report writing experience.
- Experience with BuildSmart Enterprise Management System.
- Experience working within an Integrated Management System (IMS).
Working knowledge:
- Demonstrated working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Management Systems.
Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Microsoft SharePoint and MS Teams.
Systems & Communication:
- Strong organisational, administrative, and communication abilities.
- Excellent document management and report formatting skills.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Coordinate the Groups document management processes including document control, formatting, version control, reviews, and publication of documented information.
- Maintain SharePoint document libraries, folder structures, registers, and electronic filing systems ensuring controlled and accessible documented information.
- Monitor and report on document control compliance across Group operations and projects.
- Manage SHERQ administration including meeting coordination, agenda preparation, minute taking, correspondence, filing, printing, and general departmental support.
- Maintain SHERQ registers, contractor risk assessments, DSTIs, risk management schedules, incident registers, and related records.
- Coordinate SHERQ training programs, medical surveillance requirements, and departmental awareness initiatives.
- Process invoices and administrative transactions efficiently using the BuildSmart Enterprise Management System.
- Prepare, compile, and distribute monthly SHERQ reports, statistics, and communications to relevant stakeholders.
- Capture, validate, analyse, and report SHERQ-related data to facilitate informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Provide support to the Executive: SHERQT and SHERQ team in governance, compliance, and continuous improvement activities.
