- Train and supervise housekeeping and laundry staff to ensure quality work and correct use of materials.
- Plan and monitor daily and periodic cleaning schedules and inspections.
- Manage staff rosters, shifts, leave, and discipline in line with HR and HSE policies.
- Ensure laundry services meet agreed turnaround times.
- Control housekeeping budgets and promote safe work practices.
- Liaise with management and clients to communicate policies and gather feedback.
- Solid training background to ensure staff’s competency and efficiency.
- Good understanding of cross-cultural / global issues.
- Creative, self-motivated, proactive and confident.
- Experience working with a diverse team and strong willingness to build capacity of local staff.
- Able to show creativity, innovation and initiative and have good interpersonal skills.
- Have knowledge of all housekeeping activities including cleaning and laundry.
- Be physically fit and be able to pass pre-employment and medical examinations.
- Able to interact with personnel from other departments as well as the clients and their families living in the accommodation units that we service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Housekeeping, Laundry, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in housekeeping training or a similar role.
- Professional diploma/HND in Hospitality, Room Service, or related field (advantage).
- Fluent in French; 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.
