We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team.
Requirements:
- BCom degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Practical experience with Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and capturing accounting transactions
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Assisting with monthly accounting processes
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing financial reports and schedules
- Assisting with VAT and other statutory submissions
- General accounting and administrative duties
