Close Protection Officer (CPO)

Procore Security is seeking a qualified and experienced Close Protection Officer (CPO) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safety and security of our VIP clients, ensuring their well-being in a variety of situations.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting risk assessments and threat analysis to anticipate and mitigate potential dangers.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive security plans for assigned clients.
- Providing close proximity protection to VIPs during travel, public appearances, and other events.
- Maintaining a vigilant awareness of surroundings and identifying potential security breaches.
- Operating vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to advanced driving techniques.
- Liaising with local authorities and security personnel as needed.
- Maintaining a professional and discreet demeanor at all times.
- Upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity.
Requirements:
- Matric Certificate.
- Grade C Psira Training (Must reflect CPO specialization).
- Close Protection Certificate (recognized South African qualification).
- First Aid Certificate Level 2 or 3 (issued by a recognized provider).
- Medical Assessment Certificate.
- Valid South African driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Advanced Driving Certificate (issued by a reputable driving school).
- South African Identity Document.
- Valid Police Clearance Certificate.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CPO (preferred).
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Keen observation skills and a high level of situational awareness.
