.Job Purpose:
We are looking for a skilled Shift Supervisor to help us create an awesome customer experience and keep things in good order. A professional who is in charge of overseeing business operations on their shift. The position will be based in Stellenbosch
Minimum Requirements:
- Psira Grade A (Renewed)
- Grade 12
- Valid driver's license
- Verbal in Afrikaans and Written in English
- Resides in the Helderberg Region (Strand, Somerset West or Stellenbosch)
- Previous Supervisory experience or similar role.
- Computer literate ( Word and Excel).
- Excellent communication skills
- Good physical condition
- Good health
- No criminal record
Job Description:
- To be responsible and reliable towards the client at all times
- Must be well informed of the company disciplinary code
- Must have the ability to lead team
- Assign duties to employees and oversee their progress.
- Train and integrate new workers.
- Manage daily schedules, employees shifts and time-off requests.
- Resolve conflict between employees.
- The supervision of security officers and gaurds.
- Imvestigate and resolve issues.
- Responsible to post security officers at various points in the building, during parades
- To see that security officers is neat and tidy dressed and shaved and sober before reporting for duty
- To observe and do a building inspection during shift
- Report and irregularities to the control room and site manager and foresee that such incident is written into the Occurence book.
- Supervision of manpower deployed in your building or area of control
- Effective report writing and statements
- Must assist in investigations and provide necessary information
- Must be able to work on a computer or other security system (CCTV and access control)
- Must be conversant with emergency procedures and evacuation drills
- Must report all security faults and alarms to CPO promptly
- Monthly audits, one page stats and weekly reports
- Effective customer service
- Must be aware that all lost and found equipment must be handed over to control room.

- Stellenbosch, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
