Job Overview
We are looking for customer-focused and detail-oriented Customer Service Representatives to join our growing team at TELUS Digital South Africa. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for customer queries and provide professional support through email, phone, and written correspondence.
This role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming customer queries via phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Investigate customer complaints and propose appropriate solutions, escalating when necessary.
- Log web-related queries into internal databases and refer issues to relevant departments where required.
- Effectively manage and prioritize the customer service email inbox.
- Provide support and practical assistance to Stores and Regional Managers on customer service matters.
- Assist customers with placing online orders.
- Provide customers with stock listings for mail orders.
- Handle customer queries regarding faulty product returns and process related requests.
- Respond to customer refund queries for products purchased in stores.
- Liaise with Head Office departments, suppliers, and customers to ensure all queries are resolved efficiently.
- Maintain accurate customer service records and prepare reports when requested.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate required.
- Minimum C1 level English proficiency is essential.
- No prior BPO experience required — training will be provided.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Good computer literacy and email management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused attitude with a willingness to learn.
