We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing business that forms part of a larger, well-established group. The company is experiencing strong growth and is seeking a hands-on Financial Manager to take ownership of the finance function and support the next phase of expansion.
This opportunity is ideal for a young, ambitious CA(SA) with a few years of post-articles experience, or a qualified CIMA professional with strong commercial finance experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in the business, working closely with leadership to provide financial insight, maintain strong financial controls, and support strategic growth initiatives.
This is a full-time, office-based position operating during standard South African business hours.

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs

Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections

Monitor financial performance and provide meaningful commercial insights to management

Manage VAT, tax compliance, and statutory financial requirements

Oversee debtors and creditors, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong financial controls

Ensure financial records are accurate, compliant, and up to date

Support business decision-making through financial analysis and reporting

Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, controls, and reporting

Work closely with operational teams to provide financial guidance and support

Assist leadership in evaluating business performance and growth opportunities

CA(SA) with approximately 2–5 years post-qualification experience, OR
-
Qualified CIMA professional with relevant commercial finance experience

Strong management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management experience

Solid understanding of VAT, tax, and financial controls
-
Experience managing debtors and creditors functions

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
-
Advanced attention to detail and high levels of accuracy

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to add value beyond financial reporting

Comfortable working in a growing, entrepreneurial environment

Pastel Evolution experience is non-negotiable
