What You’ll Be Doing
As our Junior Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running at peak performance.
Your day-to-day will include:
Building and upgrading PCs and laptops
Installing, configuring and maintaining IT hardware
Supporting servers, storage solutions, SAN & NAS environments
Troubleshooting hardware, networking and system issues
Assisting with data recovery and digital forensics processes
Supporting data migration and archival projects
Ensuring smooth operation of backup systems
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class IT services
You’ll be trusted to follow best practices, maintain high standards, and bring solutions, not just identify problems.
What Makes You a Great Fit
We’re looking for someone who:
Has strong hands-on experience with IT hardware and infrastructure
Understands networking fundamentals, SAN, NAS, and backup systems
Has exposure to data recovery, digital forensics, or data migration (advantageous)
Is a natural problem-solver with strong troubleshooting skills
Communicates clearly and works well within a team
Can follow structured processes while thinking independently
Qualifications & Experience
2 - 3 years’ experience in IT (non-negotiable)
A+, N+, or other relevant IT technical certifications (advantageous)
Diploma or certification in IT, Networking, or related field (preferred)
Solid understanding of servers and storage infrastructure
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (up to 40% preferred)
Location & Requirements
Based in Riverhorse Valley (Durban North area preferred)
Must be able to reliably commute or relocate before starting
On-site position (Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM)
