About the role
We are looking for a qualified Afrikaans teacher (foreign language) to join our expanding language department. You will teach learners of all ages in various formats.
Responsibilities
- Teach Afrikaans as a foreign language (group and private lessons)
- Deliver in-person, online, and hybrid classes
- Follow the institution’s curriculum
- Prepare lessons, assess learners, manage class admin
- Use our digital platform (Arc en Ciel)
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching Afrikaans as a foreign language
- Excellent command of Afrikaans
- Confident with digital teaching tools (MS Teams, interactive whiteboards, etc.)
- Flexible, adaptable, and team-oriented
- South African citizen or valid SA work visa
Contract & compensation
- Part-time, hourly-based
- Day & evening classes (Mon–Sat)
