Fachs International College is seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to support the day-to-day transport and logistical needs of the School and College. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting staff, learners (where required), and materials safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport educators and staff to off-site venues, training locations, and meetings
- Provide transport support for school events, including sports days, excursions, and external activities
- Assist with general logistics and errands, including collection and delivery of documents, materials, and equipment
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and well-maintained at all times
- Conduct basic vehicle checks and report any faults promptly
- Maintain accurate trip logs and travel records
- Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company policies
- Be available for occasional extended hours based on operational requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Code 10 (or appropriate) driver’s licence
- Valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit) – essential
- Proven experience driving passenger vehicles (including 14-seater vehicles)
- Good knowledge of local routes and navigation
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
- Professional and presentable demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours when required
Preferred Requirements
- Previous experience in a school or institutional environment
- Basic administrative or logistical support experience
