Procare Frailcare Management is seeking to appoint a Registered Nurse to manage the overall healthcare function per shift in accordance with applicable legislation and agreed medical procedures. 15 Shifts per month.
Experience and qualification:
- Diploma in General Nursing
- Registered with SANC
- Hepatitis B vaccination
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Valid driver`s licence
- Computer literate
- At least 2 years and above experience in General Nursing
- Must be able to communicate well with the elderly
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assisting with the management of the Frailcare facility
- Control and issue of medication
- Applying the Scientific Nursing Process on a daily basis
- Developing and maintaining a care plan for each Resident and assisting Residents with their physical and mental health
- Further duties will include supervision and control of junior staff and record keeping
- Applicants must have excellent leadership and people skills with the ability to be assertive when needed
