Our client, specializing in the labour relations industry, is seeking a Credit Controller (Special Projects) for the Johannesburg region for a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. The primary role of this position will be to participate in and undertake specific projects to resolve account queries, close accounts, amend the status of the accounts and to ensure all accounts are up to date and that all data is accurate as per the specific projects that are undertaken.

Duties include the following, but not limited to:
Financial Administration
- Ensure all debit orders are loaded in the system on time.
- Manage allocation of payments to correct accounts.
- Ensure all accounts are up to date.
- Manage and amend new and existing establishment statements.
- Manage Account reconciliations.
- Avail client statements on request
- Ensure submission of all client break downs of outstanding fees (arrears) and account reconciliations
- Process ad hoc invoices and credit notes
- Import of bank statements as well as incoming payments from the suspense account
Client Relationship Management
- Attend and assist all walk-in clients.
- Ensure timeous response to client queries and concerns.
- Attend to all e-mail, telephonic and walk-in queries and ensure they are resolved on time.
- Escalate urgent matters to the Finance and Administration Manager
Data Capturing
- Manage and ensure consistent employee data input and removal from system.
- Capture and update employee information regularly and in time
- Manage the addition and closing of establishments in the system.
Reporting
- Compiling of monthly reports indicating queries, recommendations and actions taken
- Avail a collection figures report to the Finance Department
Administration
- Ensure all establishment files are kept up to date.
- General office administration, as may be required.
Requirements:
- Matric
- Diploma in Credit Management would be advantageous.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Credit Management/Control
- Internet banking experience
- Through understanding of SAP system – not negotiable
- Sound understanding of credit control.
- Bargaining Council experience an advantage.
Salary: R11 300.00 CTC.
