ProStaffSelect are in search of a highly passionate and multi-skilled SOUS CHEF to lead and support in developing a strong team in this creative world of culinary arts. Our head chef has settled in the Franschhoek Valley and now presents this extraordinary gourmet experience for local visitors and in-house Villa guests.
REQUIREMENTS
Recognised 1 or 2 years FULL-TIME Cheffing Qualification.
Minimum 3 years' experience within a strict fine dining team at a similar Junior Sous chef level.
Ability to engineer and create daily changing dishes.
Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
Must be PASSIONATE about food, know your basics, display a positive attitude and truly excited about your cheffing career and goals.
Demonstrate strengths in food costing, stock controls and waste management
Efficient and & computer skills as well as a working knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems
Experience in managing staff, handling HR issues, disciplinaries etc
