The Head of Leisure Sales is responsible for overseeing all local and international sales activities with a primary focus on the leisure market. This role emphasizes developing strategic sales plans, nurturing client relationships, and leading the leisure sales team to drive revenue growth for the group’s properties.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans for leisure markets, including writing and updating plans for each property.

Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with major clients and identify new business opportunities within the leisure market.

Reporting & Administration: Produce required sales reports, maintain detailed client records, and ensure compliance with Group SOPs.

Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the leisure sales team, ensuring alignment with the leisure strategy and departmental goals.

Account Management: Develop and implement a consistent sales call plan, understand client trends, and manage key accounts effectively.

Business Development: Collaborate with the Director of Sales to identify and target top accounts, leverage competitor insights, and increase international market presence.

Sales Activities: Conduct site inspections, attend trade exhibitions, and participate in FAM trips. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company rates and property features.

Performance Tracking: Monitor and assess sales performance against targets, ensuring budget adherence and achieving key performance indicators.
Organizational Relationships:

Collaborate with General Managers, Front Office Managers, Reservations, Sales Segmentation Heads, and other key departments.

Coordinate with the Food & Beverage team, Executive Housekeeper, Banqueting Departments, and Revenue team.
Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in international sales within the hospitality industry, including team management.

Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), Salesforce, and sales tracking tools.

Education: Sales diploma and/or equivalent qualification.

Attributes: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills; strong attention to detail; ability to work under pressure and travel extensively.
