Systems Analyst – Pastel Evolution
Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a skilled and analytical Systems Analyst with strong experience in Pastel Evolution ERP to support, maintain, and optimize business systems across the organization. This role will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, improving system processes, supporting users, and ensuring the effective operation and integration of Pastel Evolution and related business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support, administration, and maintenance of the Pastel Evolution ERP system.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for system enhancements and automation.
- Gather and document user requirements and translate them into functional system solutions.
- Configure, test, and implement system changes, upgrades, and new modules within Pastel Evolution.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and user guides.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution to end users.
- Liaise with internal departments, external vendors, and service providers regarding system-related matters.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Perform data integrity checks and ensure the accuracy and security of system information.
- Assist with system audits, compliance requirements, and business continuity planning.
- Train and support users on system functionality and best practices.
- Participate in projects involving system integration, migration, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analysis, Accounting Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a Systems Analyst, ERP Support, Business Systems, or similar role.
- Advanced knowledge and practical experience with Pastel Evolution ERP.
- Experience with SQL queries, database management, and report writing would be advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, and system integrations is preferred.
- Knowledge of financial, inventory, procurement, and operational business processes.
- Experience within the FMCG environment would be advantageous.
