We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Bookkeeper to join our Finance team, supporting the sectional title portfolio. This role is central to maintaining financial integrity, ensuring statutory compliance, and delivering accurate reporting across multiple schemes.
Purpose of the Role
The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements across the sectional title portfolio. This includes full-function bookkeeping, payroll administration and financial reporting using the WeconnectU platform.
Key Responsibilities
1. Bookkeeping & Financial Management
- Maintain financial records up to trial balance
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements and cashbooks
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Capture and reconcile invoices and payments on WeconnectU
- Analyse trial balances and prepare monthly financial reports
- Prepare budgeting and forecasting for body corporates
- Manage levy clearance workflows and support AGM financial preparation
- Prepare and submit annual financial documentation to appointed auditors
- Review audit findings and liaise with auditors to resolve queries
- Process audit journals and ensure accuracy as per final accounts
2. Payroll Administration
- Process monthly payroll for body corporates
- Assist annual income tax returns
- Maintain documentation for SARS audits and queries
3. Administrative Support
- Maintain an organised electronic filing system for financial documents
- Liaise with trustees, owners, suppliers, and internal teams
- Document and improve financial procedures and internal controls
- Assist with statutory compliance and insurance renewals
- Support general financial administration and reporting tasks

Additional Requirements
- Availability to attend meetings when required
Pay: R20 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
