ProStaffSelect are in search of a highly skilled and talented PASTRY CHEF DE PARTIE to manage their own pastry section for production & service, presenting sophisticated competition standard plated desserts for lunch and dinner as well as Amuse Bouche portion size desserts for wine tasting, function canapes and private events. The main menu dessert items are changed regularly, requiring innovative ideas with a range of hot and cold desserts.
REQUIREMENTS:
A recognized professional pastry / culinary qualification
3 years industry experience within 5-star hotel or top Fine Dining Pastry environment
Extensive range of experience in DESSERTS including BAKING, PATISSERIE and CONFECTIONERY work
Strong outgoing personality with exceptional people skills to liaise directly with guests
Highly proficient in communicating, and coordinating with the team
Comfortable creating new desserts on a regular basis
Strong organisational, planning and administration skills
