Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist senior mechanics in maintaining and repairing diesel engines, vehicles, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and related components.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks (e.g., oil changes, filter replacements).
- Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
- Replace and install new parts, components, and accessories.
- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure vehicles/equipment meet safety and performance standards.
Requirements
- Relevant trade test certification (e.g., Diesel Mechanic)
- 2+ years of experience in diesel mechanics
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines and vehicles
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
