About the role
Vicinity Media is looking for a driven Campaign Manager to join our advertising operations team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end setup, execution and optimisation of digital display and geofence campaigns on Leo — our proprietary ad serving platform. Working closely with sales representatives and clients, you will deliver performance-driven campaigns and insightful reporting that keeps our clients coming back.
This role suits someone who is analytically minded, highly organised and passionate about digital advertising. Depending on your experience, you may be placed at a junior, mid, or senior level — with senior candidates expected to lead and mentor a small team of campaign managers.
Responsibilities
Campaign setup and execution
Set up and manage display, geofence and digital campaigns end-to-end in Leo (Vicinity Media's proprietary ad serving platform)
Configure all campaign parameters: budgets, flight dates, distance windows, targeting and landing pages
Upload and QA creative assets per platform specifications; enforce file naming conventions (e.g. Brand_300x250.png)
Claim and assign campaigns in Leo; link appropriate publishers and inventory placements
Build and maintain proof-of-flight (POF/PLR) documents for all live campaigns
Optimisation and performance
Monitor live campaign pacing and delivery; proactively flag and resolve under-delivery issues
Participate in weekly optimisation meetings and implement agreed publisher and targeting changes
Track and analyse KPIs: impressions, CTR, CPC/CPA, reach, engagement and conversions
Assess actual vs. planned delivery and campaign effectiveness throughout the flight
Build monthly data sheets and post-campaign analyses (PCAs) with clear, actionable insights
Client and sales liaison
Act as the primary ad ops contact for assigned sales representatives
Attend client meetings to present campaign performance and best practice recommendations
Manage and update the sales representative tracker on a weekly basis
Handle all campaign, client and technical queries from sales in a timely and professional manner
Ensure all SOPs are consistently followed and communicated to clients and sales reps
Reporting and budget management
Deliver monthly and quarterly campaign performance reports
Ensure all campaigns are paced and delivered on time and within budget
Build weekly summaries of active and completed campaigns
Report on conversion data, engagement metrics and campaign revenue attribution
Data and administration
Ensure all campaign data captured in Leo is accurate, complete and up to date
Maintain client folders according to established naming conventions and storage structures
Store and collate all campaign documentation (briefs, creatives, reports, POFs) systematically
People and team (senior level)
Mentor and coach junior campaign managers; conduct regular 1:1s and performance appraisals
Oversee campaign quality and communication for campaigns managed by direct reports
Manage overflow work and support the traffic manager when required
Assist in prioritising quarterly goals; ensure performance scorecards are objective and measurable
Identify succession candidates and develop targeted growth plans
What we're are looking for
Qualifications and experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred, not required)
1–3 years' experience in digital campaign management within an ad tech, programmatic, or media environment
Hands-on experience with an ad serving or DSP platform — Leo or similar systems advantageous
Experience with Connected TV (CTV) campaign management is advantageous
Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously with strong attention to detail
Senior applicants: proven track record of coaching and overseeing a team of campaign managers

REQUIREMENTS
Technical skills
Solid understanding of digital advertising formats and creative specifications (display, geofence, mobile)
Strong command of campaign KPIs: CTR, CPC, CPA, CPM, impressions, reach, conversions
Comfortable building reports, performance data sheets and post-campaign analyses
Experience with POF/PLR documentation and PCA reporting
Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Suite; CRM or ad ops tracker experience a plus
