Cedar Wood Recruitment is now recruiting a full-time Safari Concierge to join the Clients team and make a real difference.
The Client is not simply a travel company but has been the voice of African conservation and responsible travel since 1991 and is the world’s most conservation-focused African tour operator. Their partnerships with NGOs like African Parks sets them apart from other tour operators. Their core mission is dedicated to inspire people about Africa, so they can share their passion and contribute towards protecting its wildlife and uplifting its people. Key Performance Areas
As a Safari Concierge, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Absolute dedication to supporting our safari consultants and finance team in planning, selling, booking and managing experience-rich, responsible safaris.

Liaising with suppliers and properties, booking client flights etc.

Liaising directly with travel clients to arrange invoicing, travel documentation and booking extras such as restaurant reservations and added tours.

Assisting our product manager to create new travel packages and marketing content.
Requirements: Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, Experience
Our ideal candidate will possess:

A passion for travel in Africa and some travelling already under the belt

A minimum of two years of experience in a safari-related supporting role

Handle admin with aplomb – amaze us with your focus on accuracy and efficiency

Fluent in English

TourPlan - Essential!

Wetu, Hubspot or similar - Will be considered a plus

Microsoft Office suite

Fluent in languages other than English
