Manufacturing and quality:
- Daily product plan is met.
- Quality control is managed, and inspection is in line with or SLA and return rate target %
set by the company.
- Effectively managing and negotiating the cost of the product with the supplier and
updating the Factory transfer price (FTP).
- Quality assurance: Manage the ISO9001 certificate and requirements.
- Investigate and action on all high % faulty products returned by the customer and feedback
with outcome and action plan.
o Ensure quick and detailed response to correct action request (CAR’s) and correct
action procedure (CAP’s)
o Ensure regular internal quality checks (IQC) and accept quality levels (AQL) are
sent to all parties.
o Maintain a good working relationship with Head office Quality team.
o Maintain an updated set of golden samples for referral when necessary.
- Ensure all Finish goods (FG) product is inspected before received the goods back from our
Subbies. (buy off and pre-shipment inspections)
- Manage company asset and maintain machineries and tooling used during manufacturing.
- Plan daily deliveries from and to Subbies,
- Arrange daily transport to Roodekop warehouse for our FG stock.
- Ensuring all Test reports and LOA’s are updated timeously.
Warehousing:
- Achieve warehouse operational objectives, directing warehouse operations byo
Managing staff, systems, processes, procedures and service providers to complete
action plans, job duties, timelines, dead-lines, objectives, and targets
o Identifying weaknesses and taking corrective action
o Implementing productivity requirements
o Resolving problems
o Developing and implementing, systems, procedures, and changes
- Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse, property, and equipment by –
o Regularly inspecting and maintenance on forklift and company vehicles.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by –
o Establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures
o Complying with all South African legislation and acts.
o Managed daily, monthly OHAS act.
o Identifying risks, implement and maintain building, access and stock control systems,
policies, and procedures.
- Meet warehouse financial objectives by –
o Manage the department monthly costs.
o Investigate specific cost saving possibilities as set by the company.
- Enforcing policies and procedures.
