Viking Fishing has the position available for a Site Manager, based at Viking Airport Depot.
PURPOSE
-
To oversee the cold store operations and ensure the efficient day to day administrative, OHS and operational requirements of Viking Airport Depot
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
-
Ensure the smooth operation of the Airport Depot Cold Stores via the Airport Depot’s Cold Store Supervisor.

Managing the sites OHS requirements on a daily basis

Overseeing all staff requirements in terms of OHS needs, time and attendance as well as training requirements

Manage all HR matters associated with the above duties, in liaison with the Viking Fishing Division’s HR department
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
-
Proactive, with strong managerial and administrative skills
-
Strong operational OHS experience (Knowledge and experience)

Ability to work under pressure

Working knowledge of applicable labour laws and experience in applying these

Facilities management experience, and strong communication skills
-
Able and willing to work afterhours and weekends as and when required.
