BGR Alluvium Incorporated located in Stellenbosch,is seeking a Tax Administrator to join their team of professionals.
This position will report directly to the Directors and the Tax Manager.
You will be assisting the Tax Manager to ensure that BGR Alluvium and its clients comply with all the applicable tax laws and regulations.
**Primary Outcomes**
- Provide internal support to Tax Manager and clients in respect of SARS and E-filing issues
- Re-allocation of tax payments
- Submission of supporting documents
- Bank updates via eFiling
- Penalty remission requests
- TCC and AIT requests
- Public Officer updates
- RAV updates
- Assist with Ad hoc tax tasks
- Liaising with clients as required
- Dealing with tax refund matters
- New client registration on e-Filing
- Return queries with SARS
- Lodging and escalation of complaints
- Attending meetings with SARS
- Dividends Tax Returns
- Donations Tax returns
**Competencies**
- Effective organization of daily tasks (time management, planning, administration and reporting skills, meeting deadlines)
- Client focused
- SARS e-filing and SOQS expertise
- Microsoft Office
- Greatsoft Software knowledge will be an added advantage
**Job Requirements**:
- Audit or Accounting: 3 years (Required)
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English (Required)
**Salary**: Market related, but negotiable based on experience.
