About the Role
We are searching for a results-oriented and highly motivated Warehouse Manager to lead and inspire our warehouse team while ensuring operational excellence. Your leadership will be paramount in fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and efficiency within our warehouse operations.

Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing warehouse team.

Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and expertise.

Warehouse Operations
-
Oversee the receiving, storage, picking and shipment of goods, co-packing and returns departments.

Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for efficiency and safety.

Manage inventory control measures to ensure accuracy and minimize loss.

Maintain a robust warehouse management system (WMS).

Management of outsourced on-site service providers

Maintain budgets and control costs.

Safety & Compliance
-
Champion a safety-first culture by enforcing safety protocols and procedures.

Conduct regular safety training and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
-
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies and industry best practices.

Drive the L’Oreal for the Future agenda.

Process Improvement & Continuous Improvement

Analyze existing processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

Implement processes to best support the business and maintain controls.

Implement Lean methodologies and other continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen) to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement.

Reporting & Communication

Provide regular accurate updates and reports to senior management on warehouse performance, safety metrics, group requirements and improvement initiatives.

Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
Qualifications
-
Proven experience with a minimum of 5-10 years as a Warehouse Manager with a strong track record of success in leading teams and driving operational excellence.

Experience in cosmetics or FMCG industries preferable

Deep understanding of warehouse management best practices, safety regulations, and inventory control methods.

Experience implementing and managing warehouse management systems (WMS).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

Lean Six Sigma certification (e.g., Yellow Belt, Green Belt) or equivalent experience is desirable.

Logistics or Supply chain 3-year tertiary qualification is preferable.
