We are looking to recruit a Housekeeping Attendant who will provide a support service to all areas within the housekeeping and laundry departments, with the focus on the bedrooms. The Housekeeping Attendant supports the housekeeping team by ensuring public areas, corridors, and guest service areas are clean, well-maintained, and properly stocked. They assist with heavy cleaning tasks, transport linens and supplies, and provide essential support to room attendants to maintain high hotel cleanliness standards.

Clean and maintain guest rooms.

Maintain cleanliness and order in public areas and back-of-house spaces.

Handle linen, uniforms, and amenities in compliance with hygiene standards.

Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety hazards promptly.

Follow all health, safety, and chemical handling protocols.

Assist in maintaining a positive guest experience through polite and professional service.

Matric (National Senior Certificate)
-
Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

Satisfactory criminal record, subject to assessment of nature, severity, relevance, and recency of any offence

High cleanliness standards.

Ability to assist multiple departments.

Physical stamina to handle lifting, bending, and moving heavy items.
