Purpose of the Role:
The role of an IT system support technician includes directly supporting end-users, troubleshooting and upgrading desktops/laptops and printers, Installing, maintaining, and supporting network environments, and supporting Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365.
Requirements:
· Matric certificate
· Diploma in Information Technology or related technical field (A+, N+, MCSE, etc)
· Knowledge of desktop and server applications
· Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals and basic networking
· Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems
· Strong analytical and multitasking abilities
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent Microsoft Office skills
· Able to work under pressure
· Willing to work overtime (if required)
· Valid South African driver's license and own vehicle
· No criminal record or judgments
