Tuckshop Coordinator – Sparrow Foundation School
Role Overview:
Sparrow Foundation School is seeking a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused individual to oversee the daily operations of the school tuckshop. The role involves preparing and serving food, maintaining high hygiene standards, managing stock and cash, and delivering excellent customer service to learners, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages for daily sales and school events.
- Keep the tuckshop clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations.
- Manage stock levels, place orders, conduct stock counts, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Handle cash transactions, complete daily cash-ups, and reconcile sales.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service while promoting tuckshop products.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Experience in a tuckshop, café, canteen, retail, or food service environment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Basic cash handling, numeracy, and computer skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Honest, trustworthy, able to work independently, and capable of working under pressure while maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Pay: Up to R6 000,00 per month
