The Salon Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the salon, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff performance, maintaining operational standards, and driving business growth. The successful candidate will lead the team, ensure smooth daily operations, and create a welcoming environment for every client.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the salon.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the salon team.
- Create and manage staff schedules.
- Handle client bookings, walk-ins, and enquiries.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints professionally.
- Monitor staff performance and maintain high service standards.
- Conduct daily cash-ups and ensure accurate financial records.
- Manage stock levels and order salon supplies when required.
- Ensure the salon remains clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Coordinate promotions, marketing initiatives, and social media content.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
- Implement strategies to increase bookings, client retention, and revenue.
- Prepare operational reports for the business owner.
- Ensure all salon policies and procedures are followed.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a salon management or similar management role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
- Experience handling cash-ups and basic financial administration.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office and WhatsApp Business.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in beauty or hair salon operations.
