Job summary:
A Finance Clerk is responsible for maintaining financial records, managing transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of financial documents.
Requirements:
- Relevant Finance Qualification or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a finance clerk or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Entering financial transactions into accounting systems.
- Invoicing: Preparing and sending invoices to clients or customers.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of all financial activities.
- Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Assisting with Audits: Preparing documents and records for auditing purposes.
- Expense Reports: Managing and processing employee expense reports.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Handling incoming and outgoing payments.
- Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
