We are trying to build a team of A-players, we do not want any employee that will not respect their position and responsibilities, cannot follow through on objectives and targets, cannot think independently, is not willing to change, and/or is not able to take negative feedback from management. We are not in a rush to hire for this position and are seeking the right person for this role. We believe in hiring slow and firing fast. We all know what someone lazy, negative and incompetent can do to a team, and its success and cohesion, and we try to avoid it at all costs.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a charismatic but honest sales representative that will convert new leads through marketing channels into sales. The Sales Representative will also be required to seek his own leads by cold calling potential clients and going to visit clients directly seeking new opportunities. The Sales Representative will be spending time in an office as well as on the road. The Sales Representative will need to get his hands dirty loading golf carts on and off a trailer for deliveries or collections. It is imperative that the employee has a technical understanding of the products in our portfolio, this is essential to make sales and maintain customers.
Key Responsibilities:
External Sales:
Seek new business and maintain existing clients
Visit clients on site
Cold calling
Dropping off and collecting of golf carts directly to the customers premises
Organising events
Filling out a call card
Finding new contacts, building relationships with these contacts.
Internal Sales:
Taking direct calls from customers
Telephonic and written quotations for customers
Processing sales orders, delivery notes and invoices
Following up of quotes and orders
Assisting with customer returns and processing of the relevant documentation
Following up on outstanding orders and deliveries (keeping customers updated on their orders)
Liaising with production department or parts department for updates on existing orders
Administration:
Assisting with stock take
Assisting with general administration for the company
Communication with management regarding pricing
Capturing file of the vehicles
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience in a sales position with targets that had to be met.
Drivers license
Secondary schooling up to Grade 12. Matric certificate will be requested.
Experience within the golf industry, golf cart industry or automotive industry would be advantageous.
We are a small business of 13+ employees and operate out of two premises, one in Meadowdale and one in Jet Park. This position is for our premises in Meadowdale. We are seeking an employee that will be dedicated and committed to his role and responsibilities within the business. There will be training for this position. Remuneration:
Base Salary: R15 000 Gross Monthly Salary
Commission: R0 - R10 000+ Per Month
