MERCHANDISE DISTRIBUTOR – HEAD OFFICE BUYING & PLANNING TEAM Sportsmans Warehouse | Cape Town CBD
Sportsmans Warehouse, part of the Holdsport Group, is a national sporting goods retail chain with stores across South Africa.
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to join our Buying and Planning team as a Merchandise Distributor, based at our Head Office in Cape Town CBD. This position reports directly to the Planner.

Key Responsibilities
- Stock replenishment planning and execution
- Placement and management of purchase orders
- Order follow-up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
- Stock regroups and allocation adjustments across stores
- Liaising with stores and suppliers regarding stock queries and requirements
- General buying and planning administration and system maintenance
Requirements
- Matric (essential)
- Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a retail environment; experience in buying, planning, or merchandise administration will be advantageous
- Familiarity with retail planning or ERP systems will be an advantage
- Basic understanding of stock management within a retail group will be beneficial
