MARKETING, CONTENT HYBRID FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST POSITION
Location: Goodwood, Cape Town

Salary: Approximately R15,000 per month (depending on experience)

We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious and highly organised individual to join our team as a Marketing, Content & Coordinator.
This role is primarily focused on marketing, content creation, social media management and digital advertising across multiple businesses. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, audience engagement and digital marketing, with experience or knowledge of Google Ads being highly advantageous.
The position will involve managing and growing our online presence across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, assisting with content planning and creation, coordinating marketing campaigns, supporting Google Ads initiatives and helping build brand awareness across our businesses.
In addition to the marketing function, the successful candidate will also assist with customer service, reception duties, administration, hospitality support and general business operations where required.
We regularly participate in expos, trade shows, events and brand activations, and the successful candidate may be required to assist with event preparation, content creation and marketing support at these events.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Social Media
Manage and grow social media platforms across multiple businesses, including:
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and scheduling content
- Managing content calendars
- Writing captions and marketing copy
- Responding to enquiries and messages
- Growing audience engagement and followers
- Monitoring social media performance
- Assisting with marketing campaigns
- Building brand awareness across multiple businesses
Digital Marketing
Assist with:
- Google Ads campaign management
- Meta advertising campaigns
- Website updates
- Lead generation initiatives
- Marketing reporting and analytics
- Campaign performance tracking
Content Creation & Media
A key part of this role will involve creating and managing content across our businesses.
The successful candidate should be comfortable:
- Taking professional photos and videos
- Creating Instagram Reels and TikTok content
- Operating DJI equipment and cameras
- Capturing content at events, expos and activations
- Editing photos and videos
- Producing marketing content for social media and advertising
- Assisting with product launches and campaigns
- Capturing behind-the-scenes content
- Building engaging visual content for growing brands
Experience with platforms such as:
- Canva
- Adobe Express
- Lightroom
- Premiere Pro
- Similar editing software
will be advantageous.
The successful candidate should be comfortable appearing on camera when required and confident engaging with customers, guests and team members while creating content.
Reception & Customer Service
Responsibilities include: Sitting front desk at the Laundromat
- Welcoming and assisting customers
- Managing enquiries
- Handling bookings and appointments
- General front desk responsibilities
- Providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining a professional and organised front-of-house environment
Hospitality & Guest Relations
Assist with:
- Guest communication
- Guest check-ins and check-outs
- Property inspections
- Coordination with service providers
- Assisting with guest requests
- Maintaining excellent customer experiences
Administration & Operations
Assist management with:
- General administration
- Scheduling and diary management
- Data capturing/Invoicing use of Zoho software is advantageous but simple to use
- Supplier communication
- Project coordination
- Operational support
- General business assistance where required
REQUIREMENTS:
