In this role you will be responsible for:
Conducting of inspections at the start of the shift and on road and rail trucks before loading commences
Conduct all weighbridge tests as per procedures and works instructions
Ensure accurate weighing, record keeping and reconciliation on all materials
Ensure effective reporting and communication on any deviations and solving thereof
Prepare and seal road trucks
Ensure material to be dispatched are per customer specifications (chemical and sizing)
Supervising safe operation by internal contractors (front end loader and dumper drivers)
Ensure sampling on material is done as per ISO standards
Ensure safe loco operation and shunting of rail trucks
Ensure accurate identification of material loaded on rail trucks (TFR truck cards)
Ensure compliance to all relevant procedures, works instructions and risk assessments
About you:
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
One year experience in a Ferrochrome Final Product environment with sound knowledge of FeCr identification, weighing and sampling.
Computer literate with knowledge of the Management Execution System (MES) and SCADA
Good communication skills
Good knowledge of the HSEC system
