ABOUT THE ROLE
This isn't a single fixed position. We're building a pipeline of talented people with the right mindset. You'll get hands-on exposure to real deals and learn how transactions work from the inside. Expect variety: some days you'll be researching companies, other days preparing documents, coordinating outreach, or supporting live deals. You'll wear different hats, and that's part of the appeal.
What you'll be doing:
- Researching companies, industries, and potential buyers or targets
- Preparing and reviewing deal documents to a high standard
- Supporting outreach and communication with advisors and clients
- Helping with the day-to-day coordination that keeps deals moving
- Using and learning the tools and technology that make our work smarter and faster
- Learning the mechanics of transactions and how deals get done
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We care more about mindset than a perfect CV. The right person is:
- Commercially minded and genuinely curious about how businesses work
- Ambitious and driven, but patient enough to learn and grow properly
- Coachable — open to feedback and eager to improve
- A strong communicator, both written and verbal
- Someone who takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail
- Excited about how technology is changing the way we work, and keen to make the most of it
- Willing to roll up their sleeves and do what's needed, across different roles
REQUIREMENTS
- A BComm degree or similar is preferred
- No degree? We'll still consider you if you have relevant work experience
- You must live in or around Stellenbosch or Somerset West — this is an office-based role
