About the Role
Location: Johannesburg East Rand Industrial broker)
(West Rand Industrial broker)( Rosebank/Illovo/Melrose/Hyde Park), South Africa. Reporting to: Branch Director. Role Overview: The Commercial Real Estate Broker is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing commercial property transactions across office and industrial sectors. The role operates within a highly competitive, open-mandate environment where multiple brokerages have access to the same stock. Success is driven by execution, client acquisition, deal-making ability, and consistent pipeline development rather than access to exclusive listings. The broker is expected to operate at a high-performance level, taking ownership of both tenant and landlord relationships, while actively driving revenue through leasing and sales transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Source new tenants, buyers, and landlords through proactive outreach - Build and manage a consistent, active deal pipeline - Identify suitable properties and match them to client requirements - Structure and negotiate lease and sale transactions - Manage deals end-to-end through to conclusion - Provide clients with accurate market insights and rental benchmarks - Maintain strong relationships with landlords, developers, and decision-makers
Requirements
- Commercial real estate experience advantageous but not essential - Open to candidates with strong sales or business development backgrounds - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - Strong business development and prospecting ability - High level of self-discipline and consistency - Commercial mindset with the ability to understand and structure deals - Ability to operate in a performance-driven, commission-only environment - Highly driven and results-oriented - Competitive and resilient - Takes full ownership of pipeline and performance - Comfortable working independently without reliance on leads
Pay: Up to R15 000,00 per month
