Kendrick Recruitment are currently seeking a Night Manager / Night Auditor for a luxury hotel in Johanesburg.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all hotel operations during the night shift
Ensure guest satisfaction and handle any guest inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally
Supervise and support the night team, including reception, housekeeping, and security staff
Conduct regular inspections of the hotel to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to standards
Manage late check-ins, early check-outs, and room allocations
Prepare and reconcile daily financial reports and ensure accurate cash handling
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Respond to emergencies and ensure the safety and security of guests and staff
Provide training and support to night staff as needed
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
OPERA experience is essential
Proven experience as a Night Manager or in a similar role within a 5-star hotel environment
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Can handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and calmness
Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
