· Accurately interpret scripts and act in professional and responsible manner, and within the legal requirements in accordance with the SAPC
· Dispensing of any medicine or scheduled substance on the prescription of a person authorised to prescribe medicine
· Manage the dispensary and the pharmacy staff
· Stock control covering stock ordering and managing expired stock
· Provide training for Pharmacy assistant including weekly internal training
· Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
· Provide advices on selection of Over-The-Counter medications to treat common illnesses such as flu, cold sores, headaches etc.
· Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices such as blood pressure monitor and glucose meters
· Supervise pharmacy staff members including cashiers, pharmacist assistants, etc.
· Proper management of patient records and pharmacy files
· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with SOPs.
· Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster
· Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labelling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration
· Interacting with Doctors and nurses
· Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice
