GRADER OPERATORS
Lomeza Opencast Operations (Pty) Ltd is looking for a passionate and goal driven Grader Operator, who will be based at Northern Cape Hotazel area. The qualified and suitable candidates applying for this position should meet the below minimum requirements.
Requirements:
· Grade 12 or equivalent.
· Valid Grader Operator Certificate
· Symbol A Dover test
· 3 years' experience as a grader operator in opencast mining.
· Sound knowledge of grader equipment operation.
· Operational knowledge of opencast mining and earth moving equipment.
· Valid driver's license.
· Medically Fit.
Responsibilities:
· Operate and control grader equipment to grade surfaces and roads.
· Maintain proper and accurate grading according to specifications.
· Perform pre-start checks and routine equipment maintenance.
· Ensure a safe work environment and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
· Ensure that work areas and haul roads are graded and maintained according to standards.
· Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
· Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets.
· Safety, Health and Environment:
- · Consistently apply Safety & Health principles in all team interactions and take personal responsibility for safety of self and others to ensure zero harm and elimination of fatalities
- · Identify specific risks within area and adhere to discipline – specific plans/systems to avoid these risks.

- High School (matric) (Preferred)
Experience:
- Grader Operator in Opencast Mining: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Grader Operator Certificate (Required)
- Dover Test Result: A (Required)
- Valid Driver's License (Preferred)
