About the Role
Kairos Community is looking for a creative, reliable, and passionate Part-Time Content Production Coordinator to join our media team in Cape Town.
In this hybrid role, you will help capture, create, edit, and organize digital content from our church services, gatherings, teachings, events, and other ministry activities.
The role combines videography, photography, video editing, livestream production, and social media content creation. You will work closely with our media and social media teams to transform ministry moments into engaging digital content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
While editing and post-production work may be completed remotely, in-person availability in Cape Town is required for scheduled services, recordings, and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Film church services, teachings, worship moments, testimonies, events, and other ministry activities.
- Edit short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
- Edit sermons, teachings, event recaps, and other long-form video content when required.
- Capture and edit high-quality photographs during services and events.
- Assist with livestreaming and live recording of services and special events.
- Support camera, lighting, audio, and other basic production setup.
- Identify compelling moments from recorded footage that can be transformed into digital content.
- Organize and manage video footage, photographs, recordings, and other digital media assets.
- Collaborate with the media and social media teams on creative concepts and content ideas.
- Ensure content reflects Kairos Community’s visual identity, values, and ministry vision.
- Help maintain a consistent standard of quality across our digital content.

- Responsible when handling cameras, equipment, footage, and other ministry resources.
- Passionate about using creativity and media to contribute to Christian ministry.
Skills & Experience
Experience or familiarity with some of the following is preferred:
- Video editing
- Videography
- Photography and photo editing
- Social media content creation
- Short-form video production
- Camera operation
- Livestreaming
- Basic audio and lighting setup
- Content and media file management
- CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Canva, Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar creative tools
Previous professional experience is not required. We welcome applications from students, emerging creatives, aspiring videographers, photographers, editors, and content creators who have demonstrated creative ability and are eager to grow.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid, part-time position based in Cape Town.
The successful candidate will be required to attend designated Kairos Community services, recordings, gatherings, and events in person. Editing and other post-production responsibilities may be completed remotely where appropriate.
