Sales Representative – African Creative & Snuggle Squad
Cape Town / Western Cape | Immediate Start | Basic Salary + Commission
African Creative and Snuggle Squad are looking for an experienced, motivated Sales Representative to join our growing team.
This role suits a confident, well-presented go-getter who enjoys meeting customers, opening new accounts, following up properly, and closing sales.
African Creative supplies handcrafted African décor, baskets, furniture, lighting and decorative products to retailers, interior decorators, architects, lodges, hotels and hospitality clients. Snuggle Squad supplies plush toys, travel pillows and licensed character products to retailers, bookstores, tourist stores, toy stores and gift shops.
Main responsibilities:
Visit existing and potential customers
Open new wholesale and retail accounts
Present product ranges professionally
Follow up quotes, orders and leads
Build relationships with stores, buyers, decorators and hospitality clients
Meet monthly sales targets
Report on calls, leads, orders and customer feedback
Support both African Creative and Snuggle Squad sales growth
Requirements:
Proven sales experience is essential
Own reliable car and valid driver’s licence essential
Well presented and professional
Strong communication and people skills
Self-motivated, organised and target driven
Confident calling on new customers
Experience in wholesale, retail, décor, interiors, hospitality, gifts, toys or tourism would be an advantage
Basic computer/admin skills required
Package:
Basic salary plus commission
Own car required
Fuel and mobile phone allowance included in package
Commission structure based on sales performance
