We are looking for energetic chefs to join our kitchen team focused on creating nutritious and delicious dishes including healthy bowls, salads, and wraps, pizza's. As part of our team, you'll be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking a variety of fresh vegetables, proteins, grains, and dressings to create flavorful and visually appealing dishes.
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards in food preparation and storage.
- Collaborating with the team to develop new recipes and specials.
- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs.
- Bringing high energy and good vibes to the kitchen to create a cohesive and efficient working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a chef or cook in a similar fast-paced commercial kitchen environment (dark kitchen experience is first prize).
- In-depth knowledge of nutrition, ingredients, and cooking techniques for healthy cuisine.
- Creativity and ability to innovate while keeping health-conscious principles in mind.
- Strong organizational skills with a dedication to quality.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented setting.
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant food handling certifications.
- Available for evening and weekend shifts is a requirement.
- Computer literacy to read, accept and dispatch orders using a tablet.
- Must have reliable transport to our kitchens.
- SA citizenship or valid work permit.

Pay: R5 000,00 - R6 000,00 per month
