Business Administration Manager | Bo Oakdale, Cape Town | Full Time | 30-35k ZAR per month

As a Business Administration Manager, you will be responsible for procurement of hardware, and overall supply chain management. This role is an integral part of the Operations team, working with functions across the business from sales to projects, implementing process, and optimizing their current ERP system to suit business needs.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Proven experience in purchasing and general supply chain management – minimum of 10 years’ experience within a procurement environment
- Experience implementing, and managing an ERP system
- A strong eye for detail and commercial awareness, able to negotiate the best prices
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Confident and outgoing personality
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet expectations for quick turnaround times
- Able to achieve results independently and as part of a team
- Experience working for a technology/AV company is desirable
What will your role look like?
- Overall ERP system management for procurement, stock control and finance reporting
- Responsible for overall purchase order management, including raising and managing purchase orders through the system
- Reviewing stock availability, utilizing the system to review current demand, and identifying shortfalls in key long Leadtime stock
- Creating management reports
- Working closely with the project and design teams, reviewing the products included in the project are correct, ensuring the system is updated correctly with delivery dates to ensure visibility by the business of any risk of late delivery
- Placing purchase orders with suppliers where required, ensuring required documentation is in place
- Build and maintain supplier relationships
- Working with the technical team to streamline products in the system, removing legacy part numbers
- Carry out frequent system reviews, checking general system administration discrepancies, putting in place corrective actions to reduce the likelihood of recurrence
- Working with the warehouse team to deliver an accurate group inventory value broken down by entity
- Working closely with the repair, and warehouse teams to manage the RMA/NCR (returns) process with suppliers, challenging warranty status and arranging the return of faulty hardware
- In co-ordination with the Service Manager, manage service stock levels, placing orders when required to replenish service spare parts
- Manage companies supplier accounts such as Amazon, being the go-to person for orders
- Book accommodation, travel and other required tasks for events
