This leading English-medium South African public boys school has a vacancy for a fulltime SENIOR ENGLISH HOME LANGUAGE teacher.
This is a SGB position with effect from 1 January 2027.
Appropriate teaching qualifications are essential. Candidates must have a minimum qualification of either a four-year BEd degree or a suitable degree with English and a PGCE.
- Thorough knowledge of CAPS.
- A minimum of five years teaching English HL
- Experience in teaching Grade 12 English will be considered an advantage.
- SACE Registration is essential.
- Teaching, assessment, planning and preparation for all classes (Grade 8 -12).
- Tutor/Register teacher responsibilities.
- Must be involved in the extramural programme.
- Will be responsible to fulfil all other reasonable duties required of a teacher.
