Award winning Restaurant based in Sandton offering a unique dining experience is currently recruiting for a Head Chef. The suitable candidate will have significant experience in high end cuisine - background and knowledge of Italian Cuisine would be an advantage. This experience must extend to all aspects of food culture.
The Head Chef will be responsible for the consistent preparation of innovative and creative cuisine of the highest quality, presentation and flavor, resulting in outstanding guest satisfaction. Additionally responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen and manage areas of profit, stock, wastage control, hygiene practices and training within the kitchen.
Requirements:

Hospitality Management or Culinary Degree.

Minimum of two years experiences in a similar capacity in a high-end fine dining / award winning restaurant

Displays leadership in hospitality

Exemplifies excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere.

Having an eye for detail and creativity to look at things differently will be a key to developing the Food and Beverage Experience.
