Dermatologist in Durban looking for a vibrant somatologist / aesthetician to join their team at a busy dermatology practice in Umhlanga. We are searching for a motivated, innovative and hard-working candidate to help manage patients with skin disease.
Skills & Requirements to apply:
- International Somatology Diplomas
- 1 year + experience in medical or aesthetic practice
- Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology of Skin
- Patient Counselling
- Medical Billing Systems
Qualified in the following Treatments:
- Chemical Peels
- Microneedling
- Laser and light treatment
- PRP
Product Knowledge (advantage):
- Neostrata
- Heliocare
- Skin Ceuticials
- La Roche-Posa
- Vichy
Additional Responsibilities:
- General Reception work
- Assisting doctor with medical procedures
- Stock control & Orders
- Social media marketing
- Patient counseling and patient support
- Research
- Product support
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday 08h00 to 17h00
- Saturday 8h00 – 13h00
Salary Expectation:
- Depending on experience
- Market Related: Basic Salary + Sliding Scale commission on treatments
- Other incentives: Bonus at 1 year anniversary of starting & annually based on performance
