Accounts Payable Manager

What You'll Do:
- Daily Financial Transactions: Verify, classify, and record accounts payable data like a pro.
- Delivery Reconciliations: Compare itemized PO’s to receiving notes and invoices to ensure we only pay for what we’ve ordered and received
- Invoice and credit notes: Analyze in terms of statutory requirements, capture and prepare for remittance. Request credit notes where needed
- Supplier Reconciliations: Reconcile supplier statements to the creditors ledger and follow up on reconciling items
- Cash Flow Updates - Ensure our cash flow forecast models are updated with supplier payments
- Cross Departmental Communication: This role require continuous communication with the buying team and warehouse teams on delivery recons
- File Maintenance: Ensure our e-filing system is organized and up-to-date.
- Supplier Communication: Respond to supplier queries, prepare related reports and request outstanding documents
- Finance Tasks: Assist our Head of Finance with various tasks.
- Admin Duties: Handle ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly reports and adhoc reports as requested by the team leads and Head of Finance
What You Bring:
- Qualifications: An accounting/bookkeeping qualification or relevant experience.
- Admin Skills: Previous admin experience is a plus.
- Tech-Savvy: Knowledge of Sage Evolution is a bonus; proficiency in either MSExcel and MSPowerpoint or Google Sheets, and Google Slides are essential.
