We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with valid registrations with The South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions to lead large-scale engineering and construction projects. This role requires a strategic leader with proven experience in managing complex builds, infrastructure developments, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle for engineering and construction initiatives.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.
- Report project progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Registrations with The South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (mandatory).
- Minimum 7–10 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in senior roles within engineering or construction.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar)
